Q: What is interval training? |
Interval Training is based off a simple principle; alternating bursts of
intense activity with intervals of lighter activity.
Interval training:
1) Burns MORE calories. That's right! Maximize those efforts, don't
waste your time and energy.
2) Improves aerobic capacity. Build a
stronger cardiovascular system, live healthier!
3) Is more efficient.
Research shows 15-minute interval training routines have the same
benefit as hour-long sessions (especially when jogging at the same pace
on the treadmill)
4) Burns more fat. The high-intensity of the exercise
is said to kick your body into overdrive, burning fat during the repair
cycle after a workout
5) Requires no equipment and can be done anywhere!
