Foods That Bloat and Those That Don't

A quick Google search for "strawberries"

Strawberries make you fart, did you know that?

Because of their carbohydrate and high fiber content, strawberries may cause bloating and other abdominal symptoms associated with gas.

Tootie-fruity! If you're plopping these in these in your morning protein shake you may want to cut down on the number of berries. (My super-girlfriend Jill Penfold experienced this issue and after I found this link about starw-bloaties, she cut her intake by half and is happily bloat free)

Peppermint tea, ginger, pineapple, parsley, and yogurts containing probiotics ("good" bacteria) may help reduce bloating.

Other bloating foods:
Bagels
Cabbage
Beer
Carbonated water/sodas (including DIET soft drinks)
Fried foods
Sausage (try turkey, chicken, or venison sausages instead)
White rice
Chewing gum - yes SUGAR FREE too; gum itself doesn't cause bloating but swallowing a bunch of air while chewing it does.

3 EASY WAYS TO PREVENT BLOAT
Go salt free - use salt-free seasonings
Drink water - rather than sugary fruit drinks and sodas
Steam your veggies - instead of eating raw
